Service Unit Changes in Wichita Region PDF Print E-mail
After several staff meetings and input from Girl Scout volunteers, the Wichita region of Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland is excited to share our new staff assignments and service unit adjustments with you; our valued volunteers.

Based on our staffs' strength assessments, the Membership and Volunteer Services team has been aligned within two areas: Membership Growth and Membership Support. We have strategically formed service unit structures based on geographic references and schools.

The number of service units will be reduced from 21 to 14; in regard to service unit size, geographic location or proximity to existing service units. The new structure and service unit names became effective July 1, 2010. We feel these modifications are necessary as we continue to strive toward superior customer service and improved efficiency while using our limited resources wisely.

Membership and Volunteer staff plan to make service unit team appointments as soon as possible. Please contact us if you are interested in a volunteer position within your newly named service unit. Please click here to review the revised service unit names.
