Summer camp is a place where girls can build their leadership skills, develop lifelong friendships and challenge themselves to try new things, all while being supported by a team of trained staff members and leaders.
Girl Scout camp is for every girl! No experience is required. At all of our camps, girls are empowered to step outside their comfort zone, take risks and grow as leaders. They’re encouraged to become the best they can be, learn to care for and protect the environment, and feel proud to be part of their camp community — a village for girls!
All programs and activities are tailored to the personalities and interests of girls entering first through 12th grade. They are designed to challenge girls to do new and exciting activities — some of which are only offered at camp.
Flip through the 2014 Summer Guide below, which offers twice as many activities as last year, and you’re sure to find a camp that piques your interest, whether it’s an age-specific camp for girls or a camp for the whole family. You can also see all of the council’s events and activities on our online calendar.
Day camps give you the fun experience of camp while still coming home at night, and can include multi-day sessions. Overnight camps ranging from one night to a week give you a chance to gain independence, hone new skills, and create lasting friendships, all while forging a deeper connection with the environment around you.

Summer is the busiest time of year for our camp properties, which are traditionally packed with Girl Scout programming. However, these properties ranging from primitive campsites to spacious, modern cabins are available for rental throughout the year. Remember, you don’t have to be a Girl Scout to rent one of our properties. They’re perfect not only for troop camping but for vacations, weddings, reunions, or even team-building exercises.
