Join Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland in its inaugural Thin Mint Sprint 5K and Cookie Relay on April 12. The event will be at the Girl Scouts headquarters at 360 Lexington Rd. in Wichita. This unique event will include a 5K race and an exciting, fun team event – the Cookie Relay! Sign up a team of four participants for the Cookie Relay, and be ready to make your way through our 600-yard relay course. Be sure your team is prepared to conquer our cookie obstacles! Dress in your best Thin Mint costume to be eligible to win our costume contest, and enjoy fun activities for the whole family in the start/finish area.

The 5K will start at 8:30 a.m., and Cookie Relay will start at 9:45 a.m. An awards ceremony will follow. Each participant of the 5K will receive a commemorative Thin Mint Sprint T-shirt, a box of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies, and delicious post race refreshments (yes, cookies included!).

Age group awards will be presented separately for the 5K and Cookie Relay, along with awards for the best Thin Mint costume.

Registration:

$15 – Please register on Ultra Camp by April 1.

Entry fee covers – race bib and timing chip, commemorative t-shirt, box of Thin Mint Cookies, and post race refreshments (including cookies!)

Medals will be awarded for first through third place in the following age groups; 12& under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 plus /gender groups. Must be present at 10:30 AM awards ceremony to receive medals
