Girl Scouts Share the Sweetness PDF Print E-mail
cookieshareRepresentatives from several local organizationsrecently picked uptheir share of the more than 10,250 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies collected through the Cookie Share Program.

Through the Cookie Share Program, Girl Scouts across the Kansas Heartland Council came together to "Share the Sweetness," collecting cookies for the Kansas Food Bank, Catholic Charities, McConnell Air Force Base, the Kansas National Guard and local food pantries.

"This is like Christmas in April, it's great!" said Kevin Enz, operations manager, Kansas Food Bank. "Girl Scouts do wonderful things out in the community, and we look forward to this every year. In the mix of what we distribute, this is the icing on the cake. It's very exciting for the agencies we serve, and even more exciting for the recipients."
