Earn Honor Troop status by participating in a well-rounded Girl Scout experience!

2014-2015 Honor Troop Program

•  Start NOW for the 2014-2015 year.
•  Download the requirements here, which include an outdoor activity, completing a community service project and participating in product sales (FOS, unless troop forms after the sale, and the Cookie Program).
•  Turn in the optional Quarter 1 Application by Jan. 15 – troops that do will be entered into a special prize drawing.
•  NEW: Troops that earn 2015 Honor Troop status will receive a bonus for every box of cookies sold in 2015! Bonuses will be awarded after the final application deadline of June 30, 2015.

•  Finish the Girl Scout year right!
•  Download the requirements here.
•  Year-end application is due Oct. 31, 2014, but you may turn it in sooner!

•  Honor Troop is a Girl Scout tradition across the country!
•  Honor Troop is a tool for troop leaders to make sure the girls in the troop are exposed to different options and activities for Girl Scouts.
•  Honor Troop is a special reward that girls decide to work on, and achieve, together.
•  Honor Troop helps parents understand what being a Girl Scout is all about.

How does the Honor Troop program work?
•  At the beginning of the Girl Scout year, troop members decide if they want to work toward Honor Troop recognition. All of the 2015 Honor Troop requirements must be completed by June 30, 2015.

When does a troop become an Honor Troop?
•  Your 2015 Honor Troop application will be due on or before June 30, 2015, and the troop will be recognized as an Honor Troop for the entire next year.

What are the benefits of becoming an Honor Troop?
•  A well-rounded year of Girl Scouting!
•  A special Honor Troop patch for all troop members!
•  Simple guidelines for a successful troop year make planning easier for leaders, parents, and girls!
