Upcoming summer

Camp provides the opportunity for girls
to develop a sense of responsibility,
becomemore independent and, most
importantly, have fun. They offer girls the
chance to discover, connect and take
action through camping with a focus
on building courage, confidence and
character while creating memories and
making s’mores (of course).
Why choose camp for your girl this
summer? Lifetime Girl Scout, Margaret
Dempewolf, shares that, “When a child
goes to camp she learns independence
while giving her a feel of group living.
Camp broadens social skills and teaches
skills of how to get along with all types
of people. She will better understand
her environment and the impact the
environment has on her.”
See photos of some of the June camps in
the center pages. Make sure you get your
reservations in for July’s big events—see
a full month calendar of the rest of your
summer camp opportunities on page 10!
