Victorian children were expected to learn and
follow the rules of society. Girls will learn how
children practiced the proper actions in the correct
circumstances. Having fun also had a strong social
message of the basics of society, and we will try some
too.

In themorning, girls will learn that work and play go
hand in hand. Girls will play games, try a few chores
and have fun discovering basics of a Victorian girl’s
life. In the afternoon, girls will learn how cooking was
amajor part of a Victorian girl’s life. Girls will contrast
the kitchen world they know with that of long ago.
*Girls will need to bring a sack lunch.
*Girl Scouts will earn their Playing in the Past badge
and the Simple Meals badge!
American Girl Day Camp

The girls will learn about history while reading
stories and playing with dolls from the American Girl
collection! Girls will get to know a different American
Girl each day, and will learn how each girl lived.
Afternoons will be spent outdoors and will include
hiking and waterfront activities among many other
fun camp activities! Thursday night, the girls will be
transported to the Museumof World Treasures where
they will get a unique overnight experience at the
museum!
*Girls will need to bring a sack lunch daily Mon-Thurs.
*Thursday night dinner and Friday breakfast included.
Friday pick-up at the Museumof World Treasures is
from7:00 am - 7:30 am.
*Girl Scouts will earn parts of the Making Games and
Playing in the Past badges!
