Neurons, axon, synapses, oh my! Delve into your brain and discover what’s going on inside your head,  test the importance of helmets and dissect a brain. Then camp out among the great architectural wonders of the world! Bring your overnight gear, water bottle and great attitude! Air mattresses, eye masks and cots are welcome. NSC First Aid and CPR @ Camp Meadows

This course provides you with the skills needed to successfully perform First-Aid and CPR. At the conclusion of this course you will be First-Aid and CPR certified by the National Safety Council. The course includes a home-study portion, and then skills and written testing with a certified instructor. Once you have registered, you will receive the materials for the home-study. Participants must be physically able to perform the basic skills required for CPR. Participants will not be allowed to enter the class if they arrive more than 15 minutes after the class begins.

Earn the Energize award from the Get Moving! Journey while spending a night at the Kansas Cosmosphere. Tour the Hall of Space Museum and see shows in the Digital Dome Theater and Planetarium. You will also experience simulators modeled after real astronaut training. Then, at night (weather permitting) view stars and planets through state-of-the-art telescopes. Other activities include making solar system bracelets, air rockets and more! Work on part of your Get Moving journey. Book is provided. Becoming Van Gogh @ Garden City Arts

Girls will be introduced to a gallery setting with a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility with a discussion of the current exhibit and the techniques used. Girls will then create their own painting using the works of Vincent Van Gogh as inspiration. To end the session, girls will have the opportunity to display their artwork. The day will conclude with a reception for parents and friends. All art supplies and fun patch provided. Snack provided.
