Girls will learn responsibility, leadership, conflict resolution, and team-building skills as they venture out as individual Girl Scouts without their troop or family members to Estes Park, Colorado. Adult volunteers will guide them through this experience, but it is up to the girls to decide their activities which could include horseback riding, swimming, roller skating, hiking, mini-golf, volleyball, basketball, board games and more. Base fee for the trip is $130.00 per girl with an optional fee of $30.00 if a girl chooses to do horseback riding. Reservation deadline is January 18, 2013. $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required with reservation (Cookie Credits cannot be used for the deposit) Details of the trip will be sent following the reservation deadline. Adults interested in chaperoning for this trip must submit an adult reservation form – http://kansasgirlscouts.org/wp-content/uploads/Adult-Reservation-Form-E-S-C1.pdf to the Trip Director, Vicky Chessmore at stardust@ruraltel.net by the reservation deadline. Those selected to accompany the girls will be notified after the reservation deadline and payment will be due at that time.
