Be Ready to become part of an amazing All Adult leadership Conference where all Girl Scout Volunteers are welcome to attend! There is no better way than to start off the season with great Girl Scout/Journey focused information anywhere from financial literacy,singing some songs,planning a trip, Girl Scout traditions, website and online registration,and so much more!

There will be great information, ideas, resources, enrichment to your role and an amazing experience to help kick start that midyear slump.

Lunch will be provided.  If you have a specific need in your diet plan please feel free to bring a sack lunch.

Register early to ensure you get your top picks!  Sessions will be assigned in the order the registrations are received.  Sessions could be canceled for low attendance.

Please select 3 one hour sessions and 2 half hour sessions from the list.

 

Hour sessions

1. Overnights, travel & trips-OH MY!

Safety and planning are key in successful adventures!  This will cover processes and forms from the simple backyard campout to the weekend trip.  We will give you tips & resources that will help you have the best trip ever, including budgeting and cookie credits.

2. What’s the deal with the New Girl Scout Materials?

Find out how easy they are to use!  Learn how to fit all of the great new resources into what your Girl Scouts are already doing!  Get tips on how to create the best experience for girls using the new materials.

3.  Sing songs and play games.

Silly songs, sweet songs, old songs, active songs –come make some noise with us.  Running out of game ideas?  Come play with us!  Bring a recording device if you want.

4.  Discovering Fun Meetings

Come get tips on meeting plans, Girl Scout basics and lots of fun activities!

5.  Share and Shape the Girl Scout Conversation

Join our Communications Department to learn about how you can use social media to promote your events, recruit volunteers and girls, and communicate with volunteers, your troop and your community!

 

½ hour sessions

  1. Zumba! Zumba!

Come do a work out with a real Zumba instructor and work off that lunch!

  1. My Promise, My Faith

Imagine a Girl who leads by Faith!  Did you know a girl can earn a MPMF pin every year?  Help girls connect with their faith!  This session will provide information and tips for you to work with the girls in your troop or in your faith community; it could be as easy as a one day activity or 5 weeks of activities!

  1. Show Me the Money!

Topics will include:  Troop dues, money earning activities and applications, handling group finances, how to establish a budget, finance summaries, financial assistance, troop trips, and Leader/Girls responsibilities.
