National Wildlife Federation’s (NWF) Trees for Wildlife program is dedicated to educating youth about trees and their importance to our environment and inspiring environmental stewardship in communities to plant and care for trees within their community. As part of the program, NWF has established a Tree Bank. The tree bank consists trees which have been donated for planting. As part of Girl Scout Week GSKH and NWF have partnered to provide trees for troops and Service Units to plant in and around their communities. Please fill out the Trees for Girl Scout Week application to request trees.The application is due by February 25, 2013, and trees can be picked up at your local GSKH office.
