In the morning, girls will learn that people in the 1870′s worked hard, but also took advantage of tools and machines that made their work easier. In the afternoon girls will learn that before plastics and composite materials were invented, the most common resource was wood. Many projects can be undertaken once the girls know the basic procedures. We will explore some of the “rules” that make a good project possible and Girl Scouts will take home a project of their own.You will need to bring a sack lunch.
