Every year, dedicated Girl Scouts gain valuable skills and life experiences by participating in the annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale. They help raise money for their troop and their council, and they also earn coveted Cookie Credits!
What are Cookie Credits?
Cookie Credits are council-issued credits earned through product sales that can be used for Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland programs, shop purchases and camps. They have been uploaded into the Ultracamp family accounts!
When can they be used?
Cookie Credits earned during the 2014 Cookie Sale are available for use from April 15 through Dec. 15.
How can I use my Cookie Credits?
Girls in kindergarten through 12th Grade may apply Cookie Credits toward program fees, council event fees (must register prior to Dec. 15), or purchases from Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland Council shops. You can also transfer Cookie Credits to troop accounts for troop-reserved council events.
You can transfer your Cookie Credits to a council shop by completing the Cookie Credit Transfer form. The transfer forms will be processed as soon as possible, but please allow at least 24 hours for the transfer to be completed. Place an order with the nearest Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland shop by phone, email, fax or in person. Note: Cookie Credits may not be redeemed through the e-commerce website, since Girl Scouts of the USA does not recognize individual Girl Scout Council’s Cookie Credits.
Check out the 2014 Summer Guide to pick out activities you want to spend your Cookie Credits on — you can choose any published event as long as you register by Dec. 15. Summer camp registration opens a minute after midnight on the morning of Tuesday, April 15!
Cookie Credits of Girl Scouts in fourth grade and older at the time of the 2014 Cookie Sale will have their credits automatically “banked” for future use if they are not used by Dec. 15, and will be available for travel only. Cookie Credits can be used for out-of-council resident camp and for council-approved, long-range troop trips.
