Survivor Star Shares at 2014 GSKH Recognition Event and Annual Meeting

You are invited to Salina for the 2014 Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon honoring volunteers and our older Girl Scout award recipients, followed by the Annual Meeting.

Holly HoffmanPlease come for the honor ceremonies and luncheon from 12 to 3 p.m. April 5 at Kansas Weselyan University in Salina. Participate in the business meeting, and stay for an exciting and motivating presentation by our special guest – Holly Hoffman, cast member of the reality TV show Survivor: Nicaragua and Girl Scout!

Holly Hoffman was born and raised in Eureka, a small town with about 850 residents, in north central South Dakota. In 2010, she stepped out of her comfort zone in a big way to join the cast of the CBS reality TV show Survivor on season 21 in Nicaragua. Little did she know, this was only the beginning of her journey. Holly feels that what she learned from being on the reality show, she has been able to apply to the real world of survival.

After coming home from Nicaragua, Holly became an inspirational and motivational speaker. Holly encourages others to take opportunities and also focus on attitude, confidence, determination, desire and faith.

Holly also raised two daughters in Girl Scouts, and was a Girl Scout leader herself! She is looking forward to sharing her experiences at the 2014 GSKH Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon and Annual Meeting.

Seating is limited, so reserve your spot by March 27 at the event. Read more here.
