Looking to get back in touch with nature? Get away from it all to wander the woods, learn a little natural history, and gather around the campfire at the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort.
Just 25 miles outside Yosemite Valley, the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort and hostel is the perfect base to explore the great outdoors. Take a hike on the Vernal Falls Mist Trail while you stop to smell the flowers over a picnic lunch along the way. Learn a little local history at the Mariposa Mine and Mineral Museum. Gather around the campfire to share stories and roast marshmallows before settling down for the night in our private cabins or dorm cabins. It’s a hostelling experience your troop will never forget!

To the wilderness and back again: Challenge yourself to a wilderness adventure with your whole troop or a couple friends! Up for a challenge this summer? Then take off on a multi-day canoeing adventure through one of the most pristine wilderness areas in the country.
Your adventure begins with learning to paddle, portage, and sleep in a backcountry tent. You will then test these skills with a three-day canoe trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Experience the great outdoors on water and reach your potential in ways you never thought you could on this high adventure experience.
